LCOS-SLM Based Intelligent Hybrid Algorithm for Beam Splitting

The iterative Fourier transform algorithm (IFTA) is widely used in various optical communication applications based on liquid crystal silicon spatial light modulators. However, the traditional method has many disadvantages, such as a poor effect, an inability to select optimization direction, and failure consider zero padding or phase quantization. Moreover, after years of development, emergence variant algorithms also makes it difficult for researchers choose one. In this paper, new intelligent hybrid that combines IFTA differential evolution proposed novel way. reliability verified by beam splitting, symmetrical algorithms, comparison, are introduced. improves defects above while considering quantization computer-generated hologram, which optimizes directional diffraction efficiency fidelity output results these two algorithms. As result, engineers’ trouble selection been reduced.
